This weekend at the 125th anniversary celebration of the founding of Simmons University, I was awarded the first Florence Peggy Saslow Alumnae/i service award acknowledging my fifteen years as a Trustee. I joined the board in 2010 shortly after I retired from J.P. Morgan and have served on and chaired a variety of committees, including Finance, Audit, Executive Development & Compensation, Student Experience and Executive. I am now an honorary Trustee and pleased to continue supporting this amazing institution that was founded in 1899 to provide women the means to an independent livelihood. Many of our students are first generation and Pell-eligible scholarship recipients. Consider donating today!
